Hey there, my name is Travis Buck! I have a deep commitment to using my talents to help people, which is why I am a Senior Wealth Manager with Vincere. I graduated with a degree in Finance from Cal Poly SLO and, after a stint in the chem industry, I spent 6 years advising clients through a fortune 500 firm.
I learned a great deal there, but the corporate world isn't designed to put clients first and I was being told to do a lot more selling and a lot less helping. That led me to join my friend Josh, his partner Isaiah and the wonderful team they have put together at Vincere.
I grew up surrounded by people I love being frightened by money. They were scared that it was going to run out, did not understand how to manage it and passed this fear on to those they cared about. Because we put such a low focus on Financial Education in our culture, most of us walk around feeling unsure about our next steps and our path forward in finance. My role is to solve this problem, and help people feel stress-free and confident in their future.
I specialize in Complex Financial Planning, Equity Comp Tax Analysis and Crypto Evaluation/Taxes but also love diving into every nook and cranny of the world of wealth management with my clients. I work with people across the country and have helped build businesses, start real estate empires, navigate IPO’s, plan for kids (have a lot of experience here!) and more.
Outside of finance, my passion lies in learning. I primarily read books and listen to podcasts in the science/philosophy/psychology fields, but I am willing to journey anywhere learning will take me. Some of my favorite books are “Enlightenment Now” by Steven Pinker, “Sapiens” by Yuval Noah Harari, and “Justice” by Michael Sandel, though I also read a fair amount of Fantasy and Sci-Fi.
I grew up in Santa Rosa California and I now reside in beautiful Bozeman Montana with my lovely wife Heather, our two boys Atticus and Jasper, and our twin girls, Mirabelle and Helena.
